I have been a FORD owner for decades. In the past, Jim Taylor Ford in Ruston was so responsive and attuned to customer service that I drove from Monroe to Ruston for service. That is, sadly, no longer the case. While I understand it is a dynamic business and updates are necessary to remain competitive, losing experience and authenticity in your customer service is unwise. The knowledgeable people who brought learned experience and customer care to the table are no longer at this dealership. And while youth can be an asset in any business, the young people who populate a business environment need seasoned professionals to guide and nurture them. However, I don't see that happening here. For me personally, arriving at this conclusion has been costly. The last incident occurred after paying $1,383.00 for repairs only to have the vehicle returned to me with the SAME ERROR CODES that I brought it in with. Following another diagnostic event, I was told my vehicle needed a part that FORD no longer manufactured and I should replace it. One would think after paying $1383.00 for repairs and receiving the SAME ERROR after the "repair" that a reputable dealer (or service advisor) with integrity might recommend a re-assessment of the charges. Perhaps the seasoned professionals who once populated this dealership might have done so, but the immature young people in the JTF service department now are more concerned with having a good time. So, JTF ... thank you for your advice: I WILL buy a new FORD. But it will be from a different dealer. Yes, it will be inconvenient for me to travel to Jonesboro, Farmerville, Monroe, or Bossier for service, but I will endeavor to find a dealer who is more concerned about keeping customers than hiring new, inexperienced, and un-interested youngsters. I hope the $$ you saved by hiring these untrained people you call "service advisors" are worth it because this experience has just cost you a long-time customer.

After calling Banner Ford in Monroe!, three times and waiting on hold I got fed up and decided to drive the extra 15 minutes to Jim Taylor Ford and I cannot express to you how friendly and helpful the service department and service manager was. I bought my 2021 trimmer from Banner Ford brand new and have had nothing but issues every time I bring it up there. Jim Taylor Ford has been from daylight to dark difference, especially with the new service manager! I’m not one to leave reviews, but I have to give a shout out to Miss Amber and her team. They got me back on the road the same day when Banner Ford told me it would be a week plus thank you so much, Jim Taylor!

My daughter is a student at LA TECH and was about to travel home for the Thanksgiving holidays when she noticed her 2023 Bronco Sport running hot. I advised her to take it to the nearest FORD dealership as I called them to explain the situation. I spoke with Frannie in the service dept. and was told they didn't have an appointment available until the middle of next month, but she said to have her come in and they would at least look at the radiator and make sure it had coolant and was not leaking. Once she got there they told her it would be a lengthy wait, but had a service advisor drop her back off at the dorm so she didn't have to wait the whole time at the dealership. She got a call 3 hours later saying it was done and ready for pickup. They found the water pump needed to be replaced and rushed it back so she could get home for Thanksgiving break. Big thanks to Frannie and Amy ( Service Advisor) for getting her back on the road in as quick as possible. Jim Taylor Ford and their staff did go out of the way to help my daughter and we couldn't be happier to tell everyone about it. Thanks Jim Taylor Ford.... will call you when I need another Ford Raptor.

Our family was very pleased with our sales agent,Chad Spencer, at Jim Taylor Ford. I was looking for a very specific color in 2025 Big Bend Ford Bronco Sport and with the Black Diamond package. Chad was very courteous and listened to what we were looking for and what we needed in our new vehicle. He went above and beyond to check everything off of our must have list. I arranged for a relative to buy a car with Caleb as my salesperson and he was awesome.. we did it long distance over the phone & online. Caleb was so incredibly responsive with quick answers in great detail to any question we had along the way. He puts his hand on everything and makes sure that it is perfect for us. I live 30 miles from Jim Taylor Ford. There is another Ford dealer closer to me, but I will continue to use Jim Taylor for their stellar service department. Julie in the service department has literally bent over backwards to accomodate me several times when she did not have to. She knows customer service and that's what keeps me coming back.

Service = trash. They are friendly WHEN I could ahold of them but they had my F250 for over 3 weeks and didn’t fix it. The operator who took my calls was so friendly and patient with me; she deserves a hug and Chick-Fil-A gift card. I had to go in person and get an answer about my truck and it was always “it’ll be ready tomorrow!” When I finally demanded my truck back (after asking for service manager and general manager), it was hardly any better than when I took it in. They replaced a $700 part when the code clearly stated which part was faulty and it wasn’t the $700 one. I called Walpole and they were able to get it fixed quickly, efficiently, and at a reasonable price. I will never return to Jim Taylor Ford. But really, if management reads this, give the operator a raise and a few days off because she was the best.

I like going there but has been a while the service advisor are friendly,last time they went over the services they are doing not this time it was like a cold chilli night nothing not a word most of all did not put air in the tires which were low I guess they were out of air for the day not the first time this has happen but overall good job,this time just didn't get that fuzzy feeling that they were glad you came by and doing business with them
