I could not be more pleased with the Jim Taylor Ford/Lincoln dealership in Ruston LA. I moved to N LA 10 months ago and I used the dealership in the town I live in and was never so disappointed, so I drove the 30 miles to Jim Taylor without an appointment. I was greeted the minute my truck door opened as my first visit was ‘The Works’ which was total oil change, tire rotation and completed service of engine and fluid levels, etc. when they told me my vehicle was ready my truck had been vacuumed and washed and I was floored. In all my years of having ‘The Works’ completed it was the first wash and vacuum that was ever done. The Service Department and all of the service employees were outstanding. My second visit was just as great. I replaced my back brakes which I was informed on my first visit I need to have done plus had The Works package. When I arrived for my second visit I was greeted by salesman Dan Stolz asking if I wanted to sell my truck. I met with Dan yesterday who spent several hours with me. Even though I left without reaching an agreement I will recommend Jim Taylor yo everyone. I have received two calls today telling me they are still there for me if I needed anything. One call was from Dan, the other from a customer rep. I have had many years experience with Ford dealerships as my Ex was a top rated Ford mechanic for over 25+ years. Crawled into this dealership off the interstate because my truck was handling dangerously. They were a little busy that day but the Ford techs onsite wouldn’t give me five minutes for me to explain what was going on. Luckily another ford dealership 30 minutes down the road worked with me and got it fixed.

Loved the experience that we had here. Purchased a Lincoln MKC from Johnny. He is amazing. He took the time to find us exactly what we wanted, was patient, and extremely helpful. If I ever need to purchase another vehicle, I know exactly who to go to. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish with him.

The only reason for 5 stars is because they don't have 10. I've bought a lot of vehicles in my life and by far this is my best experience yet. You won't find anyone better than Darren Collie. This man handles his business and is extremely knowledgeable about Ford. Highly recommend Darren and Jim Taylor Ford!!!!

They treat you like family here. They will be straight up with you, and will help you with anything. I’ve never had good experiences with other dealerships in the past, but this one is now my go-to. I’m even willing to drive 30 mins one way to get service here. Would recommend if you’re looking for a solid dealership to do business with

Service department has very poor service. Made an appointment to have my car serviced. The next day no one had looked at it. I stopped by the service department and inquired. “Someone is on it now”. 4 hours later I called. “The technician just got on it.” Frustrated, I asked for my car and asked why I keep being told the same thing. The service person hung up on me. When I picked up my vehicle, it was apparent no one had ever looked at the problem. I understand being backed up. I don’t understand lying to the customer. I will not be back. Update: I was contacted by their customer service rep who understood my frustration. Will give it another try.
